HPE cuts 2,500 jobs, expects Juniper buy to close year-end 2025
Despite a mostly positive revenue report for the first quarter of its fiscal 2025, HPE executives detailed a number of challenges the company will face in the coming months, including layoffs, a court case over its proposed buy of Juniper Networks, and the U.S. government’s tariff plan.
Revenues were up $7.9 billion, or 16% year-over-year, CEO Antonio Neri told Wall Street analysts. Still, “We could have executed better,” Neri said.
